Giving Tuesday

A day to share your generosity with
Salisbury Urban Ministries
Giving Tuesday is a global day dedicated to giving back. On the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, charities, families, businesses, students, and community centers around the world will come together for a common purpose -- to celebrate generosity through giving.
The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore have supported Salisbury Urban Ministries and Lower Shore nonprofits by providing them a large-scale online donation platform to receive Giving Tuesday donations. Visit their Giving Tuesday website, ShoreGivesMore.org. Salisbury Urban Ministries will be one of the nonprofits on which you can choose to focus your year-end giving.
Your donation will support Salisbury Urban Ministries’ five outreach programs:
Lazarus Food Pantry is open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. for anyone needing food assistance. Please bring photo ID
Community Food Pantries:
2nd Tuesday of the month 9:30-11 am & 5:30-6:30 pm, Eden UM Church, 7451 Main St, Willards, MD
4th Tuesday of the month 9:30 - 11 a.m., Ayers UM Church, 7516 Gumboro Rd, Pittsville, MD
Kid's Cafe' After School and Summer Program - Monday-Thursday. Children enrolled in the program are receiving meals, homework assistance, enjoying craft projects, bible lessons, and participating in educational games.
God's Kitchen is serving lunches every Saturday 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Grace Methodist Church parking lot, 635 E Church Street.
Your generous donation will enable Salisbury Urban Ministries to continue to reach out to the people God has called us to serve. Thank you for your generosity.
VOLUNTEER
We are always looking for volunteers to work with our Kid's Cafe after school program as well as the Lazarus Food Pantry!
